For the Benidorm project The City Council set two primary goals:
Enhance the tourist experience during their stay.
Thanks to MOCA, tourists to receive useful information about touristic places, cultural heritage, transportation at the moment they need it the most. It delivers added value for tourists and residents by providing context-aware communications. It enables personalized recommendations based on the specific needs and preferences of the Visit Benidorm app users such as leisure and cultural activities, restaurants, and hotels.
In this context, we observed that 23% of mobile visitors who received a location-based notification about nearby touristic places interacted with the message, that’s 448% more than standard push notifications. MOCA’s technology has proven to be an effective solution because it is personalized, it reaches the audience timely, and it is very targeted.
